Heartland Quartet was founded in 1990 with members: Bob Kelley, Bill Kelley, Tony Kelley, Brandon Kelley, Barbara Jones, Tammy Jeffress Bussell, and Doug Bussell. Now almost thirty years later, four original members remain.
The current four singers have been in place since 1996. The group has added some new faces over the last three to four years, and they have been a joy to work with!
Heartland has been privileged to bring southern gospel music to many venues. including churches, schools, auditoriums, festivals, fairs, and civic functions. Throughout the years the quartet has shared the stage with prominent groups such as Gold City, The Hoppers, The McKameys, The Nelons, The Dixie Echoes, The McGruders, Jeff and Sheri Easter, The Martins, The Bishops, Legacy Five, Greater Vision,Kevin Spencer, Anthony Burger, and many more.
It is the desire of Heartland Quartet to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, through song, for the purpose of encouraging and ministering to the needs of the hearts of those who hear us. Our prayer is that people will be uplifted, and those that need salvation will come to know Christ as their Savior and Lord.
